HISTORY - The club started in 1995 and now has 300 members.  It is successful in helping singles have fun, whether they just want to socialize or if they want to meet a special someone.

THE WAY IT WORKS - We offer 4 different ways for singles to have fun - Monthly Mixers, Activities, Speed Dating & Dinners 4 Six.   At all club events, we use first names only, everyone pays their own way and no one exchanges phone numbers or asks anyone out.  If someone wants to exchange phone numbers they make a request to Dinner 4 Six.  If both parties make a request for each other, then both numbers are given out.  Your phone number is never given out without your consent.   If only one person makes a request, the other party is not told.  This helps avoid any embarrassment or pressure.  

MIXERS - Once a month we offer a fun singles mixer for all age groups.  It is different every month, but usually includes 50 or more singles.  It could be a barbeque,  a dinner dance, a luau or a cocktail party, etc.  Different people participate each month.  Non-members can attend as many monthly mixers as they wish. 

MINI-MIXERS - We also have a mini-mixer every Wed night that non-members can attend once.  There is no fee to the club for the mini-mixer, just pay for whatever food or drink you order.  We meet at Tortilla Flats (on the patio) when the weather is warm and in the banquet room at Nash's Restaurant when the weather is cold.

ACTIVITIES - Each week activities are offered such as hiking, dancing, potlucks, wine tasting, horseback riding, bowling, golf, etc.  We are open to suggestions from members as to which activities they would like to have.

SPEED DATING - Every month we offer Speed Dating at a different location.  You will meet approx. 20 singles for 5 minutes each, one on one.  Non-members can attend speed dating as many times as they wish without joining the club.  It is divided up into 2 groups - those under 40 and those over 40.

DINNERS 4 SIX - Every Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, we offer several different age group dinners 4 six at a variety of local restaurants.  Three men and three women members are invited to attend each dinner based on their availability, age group, height range, etc.   There is no match making, but we try to place you in the ballpark of the kind of people you would enjoy socializing with.   There is no pairing off at the dinners.   There is no pressure and no obligation.  At the end of the dinner, each person pays for their own meal, thanks the other members for an enjoyable evening and leaves by themselves.   Non-members can attend one dinner 4 six prior to joining with no fee to the club.  Just pay for your meal.

MEMBERSHIP - The cost is $200 initiation fee for a lifetime membership.  This is a one time only initiation fee, not an annual fee.  Dues are $25 per month.  (If you agree to a monthly debit of your dues, it is only $150 initiation fee and $20 per month dues.)  If you want to put your membership on hold to date exclusively, you don't pay dues (one month notice is required).  When you decide to re-activate your membership, you simply pay dues again.  If it has been more than 6 months, there is a $50 re-activation fee.   To fill out your personal profile email info@dinner4six.com with "Join" in the subject line or call 530-345-2020 to join by phone with your credit or debit card.
